Welcome to a mostly Warhammer Fantasy Battles Podcast based in the Great White North. We cover everything about WFB from a Canadian perspective with an emphasis on tournaments. We also mix a few other games in for fun but try to stay very WFB centric.
In This episode of CanHammer Chris is joined by Clarence and Jon G. The boyz get together and discuss both the doubles and singles Warmasters Challenge tournaments for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. In the intro Chris goes on a Rant about CSM but it is short and we also mention we are selling shirts on our forums!
In This episode of CanHammer Ron and Chris are joined by Clarence and discuss the lore of Nurgle for both WOC and DOC, a
bunch of upcoming events and the new Daemons of Chaos. They give their detailed opinions on the new Daemons book for fantasy and add in a little of their Warmasters prep.
I have recently acquired a dark elf army. I picked it up on trade for some other fantasy stuff. It is almost a complete army but needs a few odds and sods to make it legal and playable. I felt it might be useful to write a little article on my thought process for rounding out the army. I hope it helps others in building up a balanced force from limited options.
My goal for the final army list is to be competitive and balanced without resembling an internet
list. Basically, something that has an honest shot at winning without being miserable to play or play
against. My other armies are getting stale so I am moving on to something new and competitive. So
with that in mind, here’s what I have to work with.
In This episode of CanHammer Ron and Chris discuss the lore of metal, a bunch of upcoming events and Game Summit madness. They also give their first impressions of the new Warriors of Chaos and talk for 3 seconds on the new Daemons.
Ron came up for a Visit and we decided to do a battle report. I have uploaded a 28 minute file to the feed of us describing the game and have included a list of photos we took during it. If you don't listen to the audio then it will just be a bunch of photos. As usual please give any feedback as this may be something we want to do more of. We did kind of screw up when taking the photos and we missed a few but have included them below in order so hopefully it helps you see what happened. Next time we will definatly do a better job with photos and captions on the photos maybe ill have to make turn signs on the board.
just wanted to talk about my Initial WOC list from the new book and why I made
these choices.My initial thoughts are
the book is pretty well written so I don’t feel I was really hard done by.Another thing is that I own all the models in
this list and only need to paint 4 models which is a nice bonus as about
2000pts of painted warrior’s models for me will probably never hit the tabletop
again or until a new book.
